I worked as a waiter at Tesoro in Westbury for 18 years and gained a reputation for never saying no when my customers asked for something. I would always answer “absolutely” no matter what. “Mario I don’t see the veal on the menu can you make it?” So I would pull out my sign that read “absolutely” and people really found it funny. Eventually everyone would call me “Absolutely Mario”. I vowed one day that if I ever had my own restaurant, that I would name it “Absolutely Mario”. Through the years in this industry I learned that the customer is always right and the word NO does not exist when you taken care of people. So following those rules I never said no for anything, I always said ” Absolutely”.
